^{In 1988 the UWP (United Wood Products Co.) was established and has subsequently developed into one of the leading timber products manufacturing companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia providing high class products and first class service to its customers.}

^{The factories are located in the Second Industrial Estate in Riyadh and the sites have a total area of 55,500 SQM.}

^{The present manufacturing facilities consists of Four units which specialize in different product ranges and are supported by essential services.}

^{All hardwoods, which are procured from various regions of the world are dried to specified criteria prior to use in modern Kiln Dryers situated on the main site.}

^{UWP is certified to manufacture fire rated door sets to British standards and accredited to Underwriters Laboratories for the manufacture of fire rated door leaves.}

^{In 1999 UWP was approved by SASO to manufacture doors to their requirements registration Ref. 136/1420.}

^{United Wood operate a quality management system which complies with requirements of BS EN ISO 9001. The certificate Number is FM 40201 and the registration with British Standards Institution was dated 5th of August, 1998.}
